Upgrade, downgrade or cancel

Change your plan on Subscription. Moving up (Individual to Unlimited, or monthly to yearly) takes effect at once; to move down, cancel and choose the smaller plan after your plan ends. A cancelled monthly plan ends as soon as you cancel; a yearly plan runs to the end of the year you paid for.

Move up

  1. Open Subscription. It's in the menu.
  2. Choose the change. On Individual, choose Switch to Unlimited. On Unlimited monthly, choose Switch to yearly.
  3. Check the charge and confirm. A box shows what you're charged today. You pay the new plan for the rest of the period, minus the unused part of your current plan. Choose the button to confirm, or Keep my plan.

The change starts right away. Paying yearly saves $120 a year against paying monthly.

Move down

There's no direct switch to a smaller plan. Cancel your current plan, then choose the smaller plan on Subscription once it has ended.

Cancel

  1. Open Subscription. Under your plan, choose Cancel subscription.
  2. Read the box. It says exactly when your plan ends.
  3. Confirm. Choose Cancel subscription, or Keep my plan to stop.
Your planWhen it ends
Individual or Unlimited, monthlyAs soon as you cancel
Unlimited, yearlyAt the end of the year you've paid for
A practice's planAt the end of the period you've paid for

The line under your plan says which applies to you, for example Cancel any time. Your plan ends as soon as you do. You won't be billed again either way. If your plan runs to a date, you can choose Keep my plan any time before then.

Cancelling doesn't delete your notes or templates. Without a plan, the 20-note free trial limit applies again to new visits, and notes you've already made count toward it.

Practice admins: cancelling with Cancel practice plan lets your clinicians keep signing in and reading their notes, but no one can record new visits until you restart the plan.
