An invite link expired

Invite links work for 7 days. Open the old link anyway and choose Email me a new link, or ask your practice admin to choose Resend invite on Team.

If you were invited

  1. Open the link from your invite email. The page says This invite has expired.
  2. Choose Email me a new link. The page changes to Check your email.
  3. Open the new email. The new link works for 7 days. The old link stops working.

The new link only goes to the email address you were invited with. Nothing after a few minutes? Check your spam folder, or ask the person who invited you.

If the page says This invite link doesn't work, the link was replaced or cancelled. Look for a newer invite email. If there isn't one, ask the person who invited you, or email support@soapsuds.io.

Already set up your account? Choose Sign in on that page. If you forgot your password, choose Forgot password on the sign-in page.

If you are the practice admin

  1. Open Team. A person whose link ran out shows Invite expired.
  2. Choose Resend invite. It sits next to the expired label (under the row on a phone). For a link that still works, it is in the row's menu (…).
  3. Check the message. Invite sent means we emailed a new link that works for 7 days. Their old link no longer works.

Your Home page also lists expired or cancelled invites under Needs you, with Resend invite right there.

Messages you might see

  • "An invite went out less than a minute ago." Wait a moment for it to arrive.
  • "They've already set up their account." They can sign in now.
  • "They've signed in before, so there's no invite to send." They can choose Forgot password on the sign-in page.
